Laura Sophie Von der Goltz, a historically informed and inspired violinist, has had the opportunity to perform with a diverse range of ensembles, venues, and occasions. She has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists and participated in recordings as both a chamber musician and orchestral member. She holds a special place in her heart for the ensemble Les Musiciens du Hague with colleague Thomas Reyna, and finds continual inspiration in projects with Burak Oezdemir and Musik Sequenza Berlin. During her studies, she played with the Orchestra of the 18th Century and collaborated with numerous teachers from the Royal Conservatoire, traveling across Europe with various chamber music groups. Professionally, she spent several years with the Akademie für Klassische Musik Köln, contributing to numerous CD recordings. Currently residing in Normandy, France, she founded Ensemble Orion 276, which performs concerts in the region.
