Neither during nor after her studies of the Baroque violin did Laura Sophie von der Goltz ever cease playing classical violin. Today, she holds the violin position in the Tango Klezmer group Hot and Cool, succeeding Petra Müllejans.

Laura frequently performs concerts in the Unterfranken region of Germany, often joined by her father, a concert guitarist. She has also played with chamber orchestras, including the soloists of the Bonn Chamber Philharmonic. Her ongoing passion is to shape the violin's sound so that it both sings and deeply touches her listeners. Versatile in style, Laura's curiosity has led her to numerous collaborations across various genres and settings. She enjoys improvising and experimenting with new musical ideas.
